About Yesterday!!!

My day started at 1 a. m. with a prayer of intimacy with God. If there is anything I desire at this critical hour is a close communication with the maker. I had one-on-one chat and I pretty got answers!!!

Fast track to the activities of the day. I rushed to the office to start a blog on roofing for a client. I completed that in a short time and also learnt from a colleague some tips about SEO.She is really good at that.

I was typing a post on Facebook about Self-Discovery while doing this, I was receiving a bunch of friend requests notifications, almost 50, if I am not mistaking.

I decided to accept some at my leisure, but as a principle, I checked about, profile pictures and contents of to- be friends. Some profile pictures were wishy-washy, some didn’t have and contents were missing in so many. I engaged some of them and I realised they were informed about a guy on facebook who gives out free airtime.I don’t have a problem with that really, but I was interested to know if they are learning anything at all.

So, I changed the approach to validating my assumption by attaching the winning of the airtime with a review of my post.Alas, heaven was let loose. My fastest fingers ran away!!!

Nigeria is in this state of chaos because we lack interest in reading. You can’t emerge President in the United States if you are not a voracious reader. There is a library designated for any aspirant to read from and until acquiring the necessary knowledge, you are not fit for the race. You’d be sure of facing people who know so many things about their country and if you don’t read, how will you proffer answers?

How many of our leaders have a standard library? Anyway, I know of Professor Yemi Osinbajo. In his library, he has books written by great and successful political gladiators across the globe. He had been preparing a long time ago.So, I am not surprised about his exemplary leadership.’It is a truth that Nemo Dat Quod Non-Habet’ (You can’t give what you don’t’ have)

You can be great by learning from people that have been there.ONEBOOK is the ideas of 20 or more people combined in a hardcover to teach us the way.Imagine how great we can be by learning from the mistakes, success, failure, and growth of so many people just by reading !!!

I am not stopping the free airtime anytime soon, in fact, it will be more fun as other goodies will be added at the launch of #Read2Lead including free movie tickets, shopping vouchers, shirts etc. but, it will be a learning process for all my friends. If you’re going to win henceforth, learning is a must.

By this time next year, I hope we evolve into great leaders doing great things and contributing immensely to the birth of a new Nigeria, all because we met here on Zuckerville.

I love you plenty!!!!!
