Resilient Roots Accountability Pilot Project Grants: Open Call for Proposals

Deadline: 18th March 2018

The Resilient Roots initiative is looking for partners in a range of countries to design and rollout innovative accountability pilot projects over an 18-month period. These pilot projects will examine the factors which increase public support and trust in civil society organisations, to identify different pathways to greater, longer-lasting efficacy and legitimacy.

Offer:

An initial grant of up to US $30,000 to cover your organisation’s costs to implement the pilot project, with the opportunity to access further resources for the continuation and
consolidation of this work
• Hands-on guidance to develop the pilot project proposal into a comprehensive implementation plan, along with tailored training and resources to build the specific
skills needed to undertake the pilot project
• Ongoing, regular support with project implementation, including the use of co-created
methodologies for measuring constituent-based accountability and resilience
• Being part of an active community of organisations working on constituent-driven
accountability approaches, focused on peer-to-peer learning and problem solving
• Promotion of your work to a global audience via case studies, blog posts and learning
resources, along with opportunities to connect with a wider network of experts and
practitioners working on accountability and resilience. However should you wish, this
need not include specific details about your organisation

Applications:

Review the guidelines in the Open Call for Proposals, paying particular attention to the ‘What are we looking for?’ and ‘Who is this for?’ sections.

If you would then like to apply, please complete the initial application form.

Applications will be reviewed as soon as they are received and some grants may be awarded before this deadline.

Submit Applications for Harcourts Foundation Grant Program!

Deadline: 31st March 2018

 Focus

Harcourts Foundation has a clear focus on providing grants to reputable community-based, non-profit organizations which need funding for projects and initiatives designed to benefit as many people as possible. Preference will be given to applications that demonstrate that their grant will have the widest community impact.

Guidelines

  • The organization applying for the grant MUST be a non-profit.
  • Grant applications must be for a specific event, project, item or initiative.
  • Requests for the event, project, item or initiative must be scheduled to occur within four months of receiving the grant.
  • Grants will not be given for items already purchased or events/initiatives/projects already held.
  • If the grant is not used for the purpose for which it was applied, we will request that you return it so we can provide to another group elsewhere. We

may ask for supporting documents such as quotes.

  • If you are a branch of an organization where another branch has been successful in achieving a grant from us in the past, this does not mean you

automatically qualify for a grant. Each application will be considered independently based on funds available and circumstances at the time.

  • If you are successful, please do not reapply within the next 18 months, as we would like to assist other organizations.
  • You may apply as a national or regional organization, however, your application must be for a specific community event, project, item or initiative that fits the criteria.

Please do not submit funding requests for:

  • Individual needs – such as salaries and wages. Our focus is on supporting as many people as possible within our communities.
  • Overseas or other travel costs.
  • Religious, political, lobby causes/activities

 Applications:

Step 1: Please read the Application Process Document to see if your organisation is eligible for a grant.

Step 2: On the same page, check the current Round Dates.

Step 3: DOWNLOAD AND FILL OUT APPLICATION FORM
