Balm in Gilead Foundation for Sustainable Development is a registered non-governmental organization which has the following as its main activities: Health promotion and Service Delivery, Gender Equality programming, Rights promotion, Capacity Building among others. BIGIF is currently been funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs to implement a four years project titled: “Protect Women’s Rights and Promote Gender Equality Through Strengthened Advocacy and Lobby Capacity of Local NGOs and Relevant Stakeholders in Ekiti State, Nigeria”.
BIGIF requires the services of Trainers/Consultancy organizations/Training Institutes/Individuals that will support capacity building on the project. Qualified and interested Trainers/Consultancy organizations/Training Institutes/Individuals are hereby invited to submit both technical and financial proposals for the assignment.
Description
Capacity Building on Gender budgeting, Grant Writing, Proposal Development, Fund Raising, Resource Mobilization and Management for Gender-related programs to ensure the sustainability of women rights promotion and gender equality response.
Job Scope
The scope of services for this call includes the following:
i) CONTENT DEVELOPMENT: Tailored training modules and contents development with relevant instructional materials that will guide the implementation of the training.
ii) FACILITATION: Facilitate a 3-day residential training with an average of 30 participants drawn from the CSOs, Civil Groups Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Legal practitioners, Academic, Health and Media Institutions in 2 batches.
iii) REPORTING: Writing and submission of a comprehensive training report, evaluation, and recommendations for decision making.
Qualification
Interested Consultancy organizations/Training Institutes/Individuals must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the service (Organization brochure, Description of similar assignment, details of appropriate skills among staff). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualification.
Application
Firms/Institutes wishing to submit a proposal are requested to forward their documents containing the following information:
i) Evidence of registration in Nigeria to provide services as solicited (NOT applicable to Individuals)
ii) Three-paged profile of each technical Staff to be deployed
iii) Evidence of Technical experience/competence including proof of similar assignments implemented (verifiable track records in capacity building, Fundraising, Proposal Writing, Resource Mobilization and work on gender and/or women’s rights is COMPULSORY for all applicants)
iv) Technical proposal detailing TAILORED training modules, reporting and post-training plans
v) Financial proposal. (Stating how the applicant wishes to be rewarded, should be submitted as an excel attachment)
