Today, we will delve into strategies that can make you stay focused on your dream and explore to full capacity. I want to assume at this juncture that you have a SMART goal and there is no need to explain that.Let set the ball rolling
Define the end in the beginning
Identify what the achievement of that goal will bring to you-joy, body fitness, money, contract, visibility, equity, customer retention, safety etc. Don’t just figure it out in your head, write out at least 3 outcomes before you start out.
Love it
This is a secret that can bring anything to you without a struggle.Love dearly the result you identified in 1 above and the process. Love is a beautiful thing – love is the only language the universe understands when it comes to the exchange of value. You love it, you have it.
Develop a vision board
You want to have that which you love, clearly project it. For instance, you saw Jane at a party or on Facebook and the glimpse of love for her gripped your mind, you will daily look at her picture and wish she is right in your arms. If you are then serious about Jane, you will map out strategies to have her. You can do the following
A. If in a party, you will likely call your friend/cousin who invited you and ask for more details about Jane. You get the contact to begin the dreadful pursuit of your goal of having Jane
B. If on facebook, you’re likely to read “About”, preference, mutual friends or anything point of connection and then slide like a superman into her DM.
That is exactly what Vision Board is to your goal.It gives you a clear insight into your “Jane” and the ability to communicate on a daily basis until you accomplish it.
Your vision board is your critical path schedule. It shows the Goal, key activities to be done and milestone, timeline, key partners, cost implication -this could be in cash, sleep, cut down on social activities etc.

Adopt the Eisenhower Matrix
This matrix was developed by General Eisenhower the 34th president of the United States to help you prioritise your tasks by urgency and importance results in 4 quadrants.
The first quadrant is called ” Do first ” Identify and put all tasks that are important for your life and career and need to be done today or tomorrow at the latest. You could use a timer to help you concentrate while trying to get as much of them done as possible.
The second quadrant is called “Schedule”. Its tasks are important but less urgent. You should list tasks you need to put on your calendar here.
The third quadrant is for those tasks you could delegate as they are less important to you than others but still pretty urgent. You should keep track of delegated tasks by e-mail, telephone or within a meeting to check back on their progress later.
The fourth and last quadrant is called “Don’t Do” because it is there to help you sort out things you should not be doing at all.
Delete all bad habits, like surfing the internet without a reason or gaming too long, staying glued to television, unnecessary events, conversations, visit. They prevent you from executing important tasks in the 1st and 2nd quadrant.
With all these in place, stick to the plan and smash the goal head on
